You are invited to participate in our 11th Annual “Unity in the Community” Health & Wellness Fair at the MacDonald Avenue Church of Christ. Our target audience for this free event is the local bay area community.

WHEN: Saturday, July 26, 2025
TIME: NOON - 3PM
WHERE: 4709 Macdonald Avenue, Richmond.
This will be an outdoor festival event on Wilson Street in front of the church. Our goal is to share knowledge and resources for total health – mind, body and spirit. Many individuals are at risk for diseases that are preventable, and it is our endeavor to bring awareness and education to this population. We will provide health tips, discuss ongoing health issues, and provide health screenings for diabetes and hypertension, school backpacks, school supplies, gently used clothes/shoes, and hygiene kits.

You can contribute by providing educational information, screenings, health awareness activities, or donations for giveaway/raffle. You are welcome to set up a table to offer jobs/resources/referrals to our economically and socially disenfranchised attendees. We are anticipating 150 participants.
MacDonald Avenue Church of Christ and Whole Mind Institute (WMI), a community support organization, are the sponsors for the event. The goal of WMI is to assist and strengthen our community in overcoming life's challenges: mentally, physically, financially, emotionally and spiritually. WMI currently hosts a weekly virtual support groups: Celebrate Recovery and Grief Share.
